Special Guest Speaker at Shalom, Shalom September 26, 2008 We will be welcoming Rabbi Shaul Katzav at Shalom, Shalom on Friday, September 26 at 7:00pm. Shaul Katzav (pronounced Shä-OOL Kät-ZÄV) was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 1970, the son of a secular Jewish family. At the age of 18, he joined the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) where he served as a paratrooper and communications specialist. Shaul completed his service with the IDF and went to study practical engineering and electricity, and in 1994 traveled to the Far East in search of truth. Disappointed in his pursuit, he returned to Israel and met an evangelist who introduced him to Yeshua HaMachiach, Jesus Christ. Shaul began searching G-d’s Word for the first time and realized that Yeshua is the promised Messiah of Israel. After struggling with that fact for a year, he decided to submit and give his life to Yeshua. Shaul remained in Israel, volunteering in Messianic congregations, until 2000 when the door was opened for him to study at Christ for the Nations Institute (CFNI) and to serve as a minister and to oversee the Bar/Bat Mitzvah program at Baruch HaShem Messianic Synagogue in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from CFNI with a minor in Jewish Studies, Shaul was ordained as a shamash (deacon) and evangelist. Since then, he has led many Jews and native Israelis to faith in Yeshua. Shaul continues to serve on staff at Baruch HaShem Messianic Synagogue in the areas of youth and evangelism and as the Assistant Rabbi to Rabbi Marty Waldman. He and his wife, Sabra, live with their daughter in Dallas.

"Studying the Scriptures" Radio Show We are excited to announce that Todd has a radio show! If you live in the Albuquerque, NM, area, you should be able to listen to him on KXKS (AM 1190). His show is called "Studying the Scriptures" and airs Saturdays from 12:30 - 1:00pm, then repeats Sunday from 6:00 - 6:30pm. These programs are now available on the Books & Media page here on our website!
